In terms of technological innovation for the rapid production of PVC baseballs, improvements can be made in the aspects of raw material pretreatment, molding process, post-treatment and packaging.
During the raw material pretreatment stage, plasticizers and additives can be thoroughly mixed and stirred with PVC powder or granular materials in advance to form a paste-like resin. In this way, during the subsequent molding process, the plasticizing time of the material in the barrel can be reduced, and the production efficiency can be improved. For instance, different colored pigments are added as needed and thoroughly mixed and stirred again to ensure that the raw materials reach a directly usable state before entering the molding process.
In terms of molding processes, either thermoforming or rotational molding can be adopted. Take the thermoplastic process as an example. The pre-prepared soft PVC paste resin is injected into the thermoplastic mold. After the mold cover is closed, the mold is pushed into the thermoplastic machine for heating and shaping. The molding speed of the thermoplastic machine can be controlled between 400 and 1500 revolutions, the heating temperature is 250 to 400℃, and the molding time is 10 to 25 minutes. By precisely controlling these parameters, the PVC paste resin can be quickly formed in the mold to take the shape of a baseball.
In the post-processing stage, after molding, the mold is taken out, cooled and demolded. The finished sphere taken out of the mold is placed in the fixture within the size required by the design, and inflated to the size set by the fixture to take shape. This process can quickly stabilize the shape of the baseball, reduce subsequent deformation and other problems, and improve production efficiency.
In terms of packaging, a vacuum packaging process is adopted. Before packaging, carefully inspect the appearance of the PVC balls to ensure there are no obvious defects. Select the appropriate vacuum packaging bag based on the size of the balls. Clean the packaging site and set the parameters of the exhaust equipment. For instance, the vacuum degree is generally controlled at around 80kPa. Gently place a single PVC ball in the center of the packaging bag and start the vacuuming equipment. The vacuuming time is usually 10 to 15 seconds. Check the sealing part of the bag to ensure it is well sealed and there is no air leakage. For bulk packaging, the quantity of PVC balls in each bag should be reasonably arranged, such as 5 in one bag. After the vacuuming is completed, quickly carry out the heat sealing operation at a temperature of approximately 180℃. The heat sealing time should be controlled within 3 to 5 seconds to ensure a firm seal. Through this rapid and effective packaging method, the packaging of products can be completed quickly, improving the overall production efficiency.
